Repeat Prescriptions can be obtained by:

  • repeat prescriptionsWriting to the surgery enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope
  • By Fax
  • In person
  • By completing the online form on this page

The request MUST be accompanied by a repeat prescription slip (right hand page of prescription) clearly marked with the medication required unless requested via the web site. Please indicate clearly your usual doctor on the repeat prescription or request.

We DO NOT take requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone in order to avoid both any misunderstanding and delays in answering other calls.

Collection

Our aim is to have repeat prescriptions ready for collection 2 working days from the day of request.

Chemists’ Collection Service

The local chemist shops operate a prescription collection service from Burnham Health Centre. Information about this service can be obtained from the respective chemist shop.

28 DAY PRESCRIBING

Buckinghamshire PCT is encouraging all GP’s to move to a 28 day prescribing policy as a way to improve prescribing efficiency.

If you are over 60 or on certain medication for which you do not pay your next prescription may have been altered accordingly. You can only order one prescription in a 28 day period.
